They need our help with the Thanksgiving Meal/ Here is a list of what is needed/ Thank you in advance

  

HELP FEED BATES COUNTY RESIDENTS A THANKSGIVING DAY MEAL

On Thanksgiving day, Judge Julie Highley and the Carpenters Cup is again joining efforts to provide a free Thanksgiving meal. These meals can be delivered, picked up or eaten in at the Butler Senior Center. The goal is to feed around 500 people. The Thanksgiving meal will consist of turkey or ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, or sweet potato casserole.

 

 

If you want to donate, here is a list of food items that the Carpenter’s Cup in Butler  need for to prepare this Thanksgiving meal. 

 

 

turkeys and hams (whatever they get will be used or given away

white potatoes: 200 lbs

sweet potatoes: 100 lbs

stove top stuffing mix: 85 boxes

gallon cans of green beans: 20

gallon cans of corn: 15

brown and serve rolls: 45 packages

whipped topping: 45 tubs

bacon: 30 lbs

onions: 3 bags

butter: 50 lbs

chicken broth: 25 boxes

pecans: 150 lbs

apple pies: 85

pumpkin pies: 85

clam shell dessert boxes: 300

Those donating may bring donations to the Carpenters Cup. If you want to volunteer please call the Carpenters Cup at 660-679-3333 to sign up.
